Lion’s mane mushroom powder is an edible fungus that has been used in East Asia for centuries as food and medicine. If you’re new to functional mushrooms, then Lion’s Mane Mushroom Powder is a great starting point. They are vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free and contain no additives, mycelium, grains or any fillers. They are also rich in vitamins such as thiamine, riboflavin, and niacin. Also a good source of essential minerals such as manganese, zinc and potassium supporting mental performance and brain health.
Lion’s mane supplements come in several forms, including powders made from grinding up either the mushroom head (called the fruiting body) or the root (called the mycelium).
DOSAGE: We recommend you start low and go slow. Take care not to exceed the recommended limit of one serving 4-6g per day. 5g is approx one teaspoon.
Lion’s Mane has a naturally delicious, mild mushroom flavour. The finely ground powder can be added without any preparation to smoothies and soups or sprinkled on foods like stews, stir-fries and meaty dishes. Alternatively, add half a teaspoon to your favourite hot drink at a time that works for you. Stir well.
