HOW MUCH WHEATGRASS POWDER SHOULD I TAKE?
Wheatgrass can be taken on its own, or in combination with other supplements such as diatomaceous earth. People new to taking wheatgrass powder should start by taking 1 teaspoon a day, then after a week build this up to 2 a day (two servings taken at different times of the day).
Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are advised not to exceed the daily dose of wheatgrass powder.
Wheatgrass can lower blood sugar levels so patients should stop taking it two weeks prior to surgery.
HOW DO I TAKE IT?
Try blending wheatgrass powder into your smoothie, adding it to your porridge or vegetable soup. If you experience nausea its best to drink wheatgrass mixed with water on an empty stomach.
